QYT KT980PLUS Cable / wiring

I have searched for days trying to find a cable or diagram for the QYT KT980PLUS radio. I am wanting to hook it up to the Digirig. Can anyone help me with a cable or diagram ?
Thank you

Here is the mic pinout from the manual:

Based on that, the audio/PTT cable for Digirig will look like this:

RJ-45 pin 3 (MIC) โ†’ 3.5mm TRRS ring 1 (RIG_AFIN)
RJ-45 pin 5 (PTT) โ†’ 3.5mm TRRS ring 2 (RIG_PTT)
RJ-45 pin 4 (MIC GND) โ†’ 3.5mm TRRS sleeve (GND)
RJ-45 pin 6 (GND) โ†’ 3.5mm TRRS sleeve (GND)

3.5mm TRS tip (SPK) โ†’ 3.5mm TRRS tip (RIG_AFOUT)

Data Input on Pin 1 of RJ-45 could be usable for CAT control, likely logic levels. This is undocumented though and will take some sniffing with oscilloscope/logic analyzer to reverse engineer.

If you are looking for breakout cables to prototype:

Amazon.com: kework 11.8 inch Gold Plated 1/8" 3.5mm TRRS 4 Pole Stereo Jack Male to AV 4 Screw Terminal Female Block Balun Solderless Headphone Connector Converter Adapter Extension Audio Cable Cord (3.5mm Male) : Electronics

Not perfect, but I have used them.

I needed this cable rig a month ago! Because stripping those little wires is a Biatch! And the cheap Amazon TRRS adapter plugs are CHEAP. Both of mine have had the little metal pinch clips, break and fall out! This may be about as cheap??? But atleast its already wired together, and cheaper priced than buying a set and doing it yourself!

I made this cable and as soon as I plug it in to the digirig, the rig cuts off. I checked connections twice, any ideas?

I would have a 50% chance of building the RJ45 cable up correctly, based on the diagram, so take what I say with a grain of salt. I guess Maybe 8V is shorting to something? Maybe PTT is shorting to ground?

My approach in this scenario would be to disconnect all the lines and start connecting one-at-a-time confirming relevant function is working each time. GND first.

After further testing, I found the issue people are having with this rig, and the BTech UV50X2 as they are basically the same rig. Initially I followed the picture for how to โ€œcountโ€ the pins. If I hold the RJ45 in front of me, with clip facing upward like picture shows, and count from 1-8 from right to left like the picture shows, IT IS BACKWARD. Maybe its my fault for not knowing what Iโ€™m doing , but if you count from left to right with the clip upward, in front of me, IT WORKS! I have been trying to get this kind of setup for 3 years. DigiRig has done it!
