I have exactly same problems. Just using to program the FTM-6000R radio with Yaesu cables, correct prolific driver with the SCU-58 cable and Windows 11 pro. Tried the Yaesu 10 pin open end cable with a USB-TTL converter. No joy. Then used the SCU cable, same error you reported. Just trying to program the radio. Tried various Win 11 prolific drivers that loaded correctly but still the error code. Hum

FTM-6000R needs RS-232-Levels. TTL does not work.

Got that so I bought the SCU-58 cable and it doesn’t work either and made sure the driver was correct and reading accurately with ADMS software. Got any suggestions? I appreciate your response.

Steve, I am afraid that SCU-58 also has TTL-Levels. Open your Digirig and modify it for RS-232 (as documented here)
