Hello, I have been using my setup, Windows 11, FT-891, Digirig, Flrig & Fldigi for a few years. Other digital modes, JS8Call, WSJT-X, VARAC, so if you need that info for a same configuration, let me know.
HOWEVER I can not get RTTY to work with this setup. No matter the settings I only get a solid tone using RTTY-L/U on Fldigi. If anyone has a solution, please let me know. 73’s W8QH/V31XE
This may be a software configuration issue. You can rule out the Digirig as a factor in your troubleshooting by temporarily selecting your computer’s internal sound card as the output device. You’ll hear the generated tones on the computer’s speaker. Once you are happy with the audio you hear, you can switch back around to Digirig and try again with the radio.
It’s weird. Working great on all other digital modes. But generates a solid tone on RTTY and keys the radio. I think I could remove the USB cable and see if it works but doubt it because flrig talks to fldigi… I will try to get some combo so fldigi sends the tone with out a rig … I am thinking the new device you have my be a possible solution when I return from Belize.
