Good afternoon im trying to get the didirig light to work with my Samsung s21 and baofang Bf-f8hp.
In woad in the tnc configuration theres the ptt usb rts that need checked but then there is no usb port to select.
Any help would be great im not a teck guy and everyone made this look way easier then it is

the lite doesn’t have a serial port
the lite has gpio and vox (in this case, noise from phone triggers digirig lite ‘vox’ rather than enabling vox on the radio itself)
select one of those instead for ptt. gpio would be my choice for a baofeng ht

Ok thats was a vary helpful. Thank you. I feel like that was a huge improvement but theres more settings i need to change. It will tx now but just for a second. I will keep playing with it

connection attempt packets are super ‘short’
so tx (less than a second), wait, tx (less than a second) etc until connected is normal
if you manage to connect to another station, depending on what you send/receive, the packets will be larger and therefore keep transmitting a bit longer.
