Ten Tec Eagle and Digirig

Can anyone tell me the DigiRig ordering info for the DigiRig and cable (RS-232 and AUX) for the Ten Tec Eagle? Should I select “RS-232” in the dropdown box when ordering the DigiRig itself?

looks like the eagle has a usb port for remote control.

maybe the dr-891 and a custom cable for the ACC port of the radio?

sorry i can’t be of more help. it really looks like a homebrew cable for the radio though.

hopefully someone familiar with the ten-tec eagle will jump in.

It doesn’t look like there is a connection for serial CAT interface so the port configuration of Digirig Mobile doesn’t matter:

What works great:

  1. DR-891 module
  2. USB-B to 3.5mm TRRS cable (from the DR-891 cable set)
  3. DIN 8 (not mini) to 3.5mm TRSS cable (must be homebrewed)

What doesn’t work:

1. DR-891 module

  1. Digirig serial module
  2. Yeasu GX16 mic cable set
  3. One cable of the Yeasu DIN5 set may work, DIN5 to 3.5mm TRRS

The DR-891 module works great with the TT Eagle. Typo under the “What doesn’t work” heading.
