When using the serial connection on from the Digirig to the KX3 using the Digirig 3-in-1 cable on COM8, get the message below, when I use the Elecraft cable on COM9it works fine, not sure what I am missing?

Guess I should have checked continuity first.
Ground S to S is fine,
Nothing on either the Tip to Tip or R1 to R.
I should have tested the cable as soon as I received it. Looking for my old set of coiled cables and for the life of me could not find them.
