TS-2000 transmit power ramps up

I just received my replacement 13 pin DIN cable (thanks Denis, it works). I connect the DigiRig cables to the TS-2000… ready to connect to a Winlink RMS on HF with VARA. Hit the start button and the power ramps up slowly to the set power (in this case, 50 watts).

My previous setup using a Rigblaster Plus had no such issue with slow ramp up of the power.

Is this ramping up of power on the TS-2000 something that can be corrected? It very well could be a settings issue that someone with a TS-2000 can instruct me on.

No sooner than5 minutes after posting my message I figured it out.

The Windows Sound Playback level was too low. It was at 2. I adjusted it up and down for a few seconds to get the ALC on the radio just showing a bar and the audio not ramping up and I came up with a perfect level of 10.

Glad I could help myself and maybe someone in the future trying to get the TS-2000 settings just right.

Also, menu 50B is set to 1. 50E to MAIN, 50F to 1200bps.
