TYT TM-D70W cable for Digirig

I need the digirig cables to attach to a TYT TM-D70W radio.
It’s a fairly new product, so I need assistance please…

There isn’t much info on the connections of TYT TM-D70W.
It may be using the RJ-12 connector like other mobile models of TYT transceivers.

Please check if the mic connector looks like the old school phone jack with 6 contacts.
If that’s the case, then Digirig’s RJ-12 cable should work.

Thanks for the reply…

The mic connection on this radio is RJ45.

There are several options for RJ-45 pinout. In the absence of the documentation we can try and ring the pins to the radio’s chassis and see if that lines up with any of the existing pinouts.

I do not have, and I cannot find, a pinout for the RJ-45 mic connection,
or an online copy of the manual. The radio has two mic connections, one
on the main body and one on the detachable control head. Because of
this, I am now assuming that the mic connection is actually a serial
comms link instead of discrete analog switches and resistance ladders. I
probed the mic connection with an ohm meter, and I could not find
anything to use.
So there is no hope in using this radio for digital comms.
