Using Digirig Mobile ci-v 1.6 with a FT-818, is it possible?

I just received a Digirig mobile 1.6 ci-v. Would like to use it with a FT-818. Is this possible with the correct cables for the Yaesu?

Yes, but if you want the CAT control with your Yaesu then the interface will have to be reconfigured for logic levels.

Unless I am looking in the wrong place, I can’t find the exact “pad setting” for the FT-818. This is the closest thing I have found. Understanding Rig Control Options – digirig Should I use the RS-232 pad setting?

FT-818 uses logic levels (default) configuration. You’ll need to first remove all solder connections and then restore the connection where pre-existing traces were:

Turns out that mine might be a different version from what you have pictured above. Any ideas?

Yes, this is earlier revision, but it should still work. Just remove the solder from CI-V pad and ensure there is no direct connectivity.
