Using DigiRig with RS-BA1 Software

I am wishing to use my ICOM radios with DigiRig and RS-BA1 Software.

The Issue I have is using the default cables the RTS line automaticly Keys the radio.

There appears to be no where in the program to switch the RTS line. So my question is there a way to disable the RTS line on the device or do I have to disconect the RTS line through the cable itself?

If the software insists on activating RTS signal while using serial data, the hardware workaround can be using a cable adapter that doesn’t connect PTT line (ring 2).

3.5mm TRRS male → 3.5mm TRRS female

tip → tip

ring1 → ring1

ring2 → NC

sleeve → sleeve

This would plug between Digirig’s audio socket and regular Digirig audio cable.

With the hardware PTT disconnected, you’ll need both radio and software supporting PTT by serial CAT as an alternative.

Thanks Denis I have done this already but have the cables that I got with the Digirig X3 thought there might be a solution at board level so I would not have to mod my cables! Thank you for the very quick reply!
