Using the digirig with the Icom IC-7700

I have been using the Icom IC-7600 on FT-8 for several years now and want to start using my IC-7700 on FT-8. I also want to keep both systems separate. The IC-7600 lent itself easily for FT-8 it appears that the IC-7700 may be more difficult. Has anyone used the digirig with the IC-7700 and which model should I purchase?

it should be pretty straight forward.
the 7700 has the 8 pin din jack and the 3.5mm CI-V jack.
the plain old digirig ci-v with icom 8 pin din cables should set that rig right up.

Thanks for the info! I went on you tube awhile back and was reading about seeing it up just using the computer and the standard program and didn’t understand all that was said. The fellow that was the presenter was from the UK and we know those folks don’t speak English :rofl::rofl: plus I have hearing loss! It came across as “you can’t there from here”!
