Vara hf won't key ic-735

Help please. confirm I have cable in the right sockets and under radio drop down no listing for ic-735 is shown. would appreciate any help.

the ic-735 doesn’t support PTT over CI-V (cat control)

so depending on what software you’re using vara-hf with, you’ll have to select the appropriate ptt method for whichever soundcard interface you have.

that’s the correct setup for that radio.

in winlink, you can use ‘icom amateur radios’ or ‘icom amateur radios, early’

then you would enter the correct ci-v address and baud rate, also the comport number used by the digirig cp vcom driver.
under ptt, the same comport number would be used.
