I have had great luck with my Digirig VOX cable and Radiomail on my older Lightning iPad and iPhone. Now I have newer iPad and USB C port. I am using a quality Apple USB C to headphone adapter to connect to the VOX cable and radio. I am having issues with volume controls for both PTT and input level. On the input level I cannot get into the green even at full volume on the radio, both Baifeng and Yaesu. Previously I reached green level at only 25% of full volume. On the output to PTT the iPad will not hold a high output once I set it at the level to trigger PTT in the setup section of Radiomail. I have checked to make sure iPad settings have the loud noise ear protection off.
Any tips?

There isn’t much in terms of audio settings on iOS other than just the volume slider. Something must be different about the external soundcard.
Digirig Lite is a better option on the mobile devices when USB-C connection is available.
