Can I send messages direct between to UV5R simplex radios with Digirig on each radio

Yes, you can exchange direct messages/files etc using Boeings, Digirigs and some sort of USB capable computing devices (PC/phone/tablet/RPi). The type of data you can send/receive depends on the software you select. I would suggest winlink/vara combo for starters.
