With the Digirig Lite available now is there any advantage to using the Digirig mobile with trusdx? I’m assuming the uSDX cable kit will work between the trusdx and the Digirig Lite.
Cables
I already have a Digirig mobile but hope to leave it dedicated to an existing radio and have an excuse to get a Digirig Lite. I’m still confused on how PTT will work with the Digirig Lite and these cables vs Digirig Mobile and these cables. Any difference or is it the same?
All Digirig audio cables work with Digirig Lite. PTT methods available are GPIO3 (AKA RA Board) and PTT by VOX/Tone on the right audio channel. Some of the examples of the software configurations can be found in this thread:
Thank you. I’ll summarize what I believe to be true. If I want to avoid VOX for PTT, I should use a Digirig mobile for RTS PTT which is not supported on Digirig lite.
