Hi,which digirig model should I choose for my Yaseu FTM150E ?I think both models (mobile and lite) are fine. I would use it in fixed station (Home) connected to a windows 11 tablet. Also which cable should I match with both models?
The FTM 150E should not have CAT but can be programmed with the proprietary software via cable or via SD card (which is what I currently do). Wanting to use the Digirig (mobile or lite) possibly also for the FT65 (handheld) would I be better off with just the lite model? What more does the mobile model offer me?
Thank you very much,
just one more question:
Which version of DigiRig Mobile is compatible with the Yaesu FTM150E? The logic-level version or the RS232 version?
There’s a lot of confusion on various websites and forums, and I can’t find this information in the Yaesu manuals. If I want to program the radio, which version is the correct one? Some say the FTM 150E uses TTL (logic level), while others say RS232.
If you plan on using serial features of the radio then you’ll need Digirig Mobile in RS-232 configuration. If you don’t plan on it then you can use Digirig Mobile in any configuration or Digirig Lite.
