What is the problem that the x5105 quits transmitting?

@acme43 That’s frustrating. I do not own this radio, but I did not want your question to go unanswered. RFI sometimes causes PTT failure right away. Which OS, what kind of PTT, where is the antenna, what digital mode, might help others better understand your situation.

Larry, see if this happens with CW key down. I’d also check if this happens with TX power at minimum and/or with dummy load for antenna.

This could be some sort of protection from overheating or high SWR.
