When windows sees the digirig as a communications device, it functions fine however, upon rebooting windows has lost its mind and the settings. How do I retain them?.
After the reboot do you not find the soundcard or the serial port or neither?
The driver is fine. Sees the digirig every time.
It looses its default communication status need for FLRIG FLRIG setting.
I have to repeat settings every time. Seems to be a Microsoft issue. I may try my MacBook so much less hassle with Apple at least for me.
Yeah, that’s unusual. It never happened with my installation of FlRig and I don’t recall anybody else reporting this issue. Make sure you plug in Digirig into the same USB port every time and try re-installing FlRig if issue persists.
So here’s what read and worked. The issue is not digirig. Apparently the Icom 7100 has the same CV1 I think is, file. If you tell FLRIG to use the IC7100 setting it all seems to work fine.
