I purchased a digirig and the required cables for my IC746 Pro and it has worked flawlessly in the shack.
Have a Xiegu G90 on the way and am wondering if I need an additional digirig along with the new cables or if the one for my IC746 Pro will work?
I don’t know if each digirig is specific for each device or can be re-used with the appropriate cables.
Thank you,

Digirig should be fine you need new cables. This is it. https://digirig.net/product/xiegu-g90-cables/

the DR MOBILE you have is close but not quite.
both the icom and xiegu need TTL config for remote control.
the ICOM CI-V configured DR MOBILE has a jumper/solder pad tying the Rdata/Tdata lines tied together. xiegu radios need these on disreet lines.
so, if you had a TTL DR MOBILE configured for the xiegu, you could just put a stereo to mono adapter on the remote control line (radio end) and switch between the two rigs as far as remote control goes.
unfortunately, going from Icom CI-V confgured DR MOBILE to xiegu means re configuring the DR MOBILE.
good luck

Thank you both for your replies although they differ.
As I need my current mobile for my Icom in the shack, I can’t be changing the configuration back and forth and so an additional mobile for the Xiegu seems appropriate.

that’s the easiest way since you have a CI-V digirig to start with.
(you could connect the xiegu with just the audio+ptt cable and work fine but you wouldn’t have rig remote control)
i have an IC-736 and an IC-821h in the shack.
xiegu g90 and x5105 for portable use.
good luck
