XIEGU G90 Linux Mint Setup

Can someone please help me to get the digirig working?.
Looks like flrig cant find the correct port.
Not sure what to look for under lsusb either.
tnx

peter@peter-BT3-X:~$ lsusb

There should be entries like this:

Bus 001 Device 005: ID 10c4:ea60 Silicon Labs CP210x UART Bridge
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0d8c:013c C-Media Electronics, Inc. CM108 Audio Controller

Maybe USB cable is charge only.

You hit it on the nail it was the cable
flrig now shows a new port
dev something silicon labs, it looks like the correct port
It still will not connect to it
what do I do

tnx
for the help

Good progress! I’m sure Denis K0TX will come back with a good answer. In the meantime, I would try to look at the file permissions on the /dev/ entry to make sure flrig can read and write it.

This could be related to the way you reference the port.
Check this resource, it gives different ways to list USB devices:

Thanks but I’m not sure what I’m looking for. Maybe the problem is in the radio settings do i need to turn something on?.

You can isolate concerns and address them one-at-a-time. For example if you are not sure if you are selecting correct device or radio’s settings are incorrect then find a Windows PC where there is no question about device selection and you can focus strictly on transceiver setup. Once that is resolved, you can move back to Linux with known working radio settings.
