I’m running a HP laptop with Windows 11 and trying to run Winlink. I was able to set up the Digirig and I am receiving packets using UZ7HO sound modem program. That being said the radio , Yaesu FT-1500 will not transmit. I know the radio works because I was using a Signalink previously. I did notice that when I bring up the device manager there is no "Ports (Com & LPT) icon. The CP2102N USB to UART Bridge Controller shows up as “Other device icon” I’m wondering if this is preventing the radio from transmitting? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I did update the driver and still no joy. I was able to Add the " Ports(Com & LPT) icon to the device manager only now it shows Com 3 and the the CP2102N USB to UART Bridge Controller shows up as “Other device icon”??
