Using the digirig mobile, the FT-2500 cable from Digirig and running digipi on a Raspberry pi zero 2W able to TX but not receiving any APRS packets. I did have a extra speaker plugged in the back of the 2500 I unplugged that and still won’t receive messages back. Do I need another cable for the speaker out to the green port on the digirig mobile? Thanks for any help on this. 73 KC9USB
as well as i can remember, the ft-2500 has audio in/out at the mic jack so you do NOT need to connect a wire to the external speaker jack in the back of the rig.
you would NOT connect it to the green jack of the digirig mobile in any event as this jack is for serial control of the transceiver.
(like changing frequency or mode or memory channel etc, NOT data over the air to another station)

now, as for the audio from the radio to the computer, have you tried:
turning the volume up on the radio (i don’t know if the audio at the mic jack is fixed or follows volume knob)
disabling/turning off/opening the squelch (this can really help. if an incoming signal is marginal, the receiver may not ‘open up’ quick enough to catch the header of the incoming data transmission)
lastly, i don’t know anything about the current raspberry pi OS ‘workings’ so i can’t advise there but there might be mixer settings/alternative mixer programs that need to be adjusted.
good luck
