Has anyone tried using the Digirig with the Yaesu CT44 cable? I like how nice and short it is. I want a small package for this sort of thing.
The unmodified C44 cable will not work with Digirig: it has separate female connectors for audio while Digirig expect a single male TRRS connector for audio.
You can clip the sockets block and replace that with a male TRRS connector, but that is an expensive route. It’s better to use a cheap TRRS cable off amazon as a starting point for a homebrew cable build.
