Analog Allstar-like “emulation”

I was unable to find a previous thread, (so forgive me if this is an answered/addressed topic) but what would prohibit the DigirigMobile from acting as an analog FM interface to say an ICOM 2m/70cm mobile what has CI-V?

If at all possible it has probably already been done using digital modes interfaces that preceded Digirig. I would look for similar project using Signalink (although it doesn’t have CI-V support), Rigblaster and such.

QSL & TNX. Trying not to re-invent the wheel here if somebody has already done prior with the Digirig Mobile. It’s a VERY nice design. I like it. Well done!
