Cable for Retevis RT95

Do you offer a cable for the Retevis RT95?

I don’t have a cable for this radio, but found the pinout:

From the manual it looks like this transceiver is heavily “inspired” by Anytone AT-778UV. For more info on the homebrew cable build please see the post below. At some point it may be added to the store. Please signup for the email updates on the homepage if you would like to be notified.

I recently purchased the cable listed as AnyTone AT-778UV Cable for Digirig Mobile (AT778MOBILE). Plugged it into my Retevis RT95 and instant success! Literally plug-n-play.

@K0TX Dennis,

I have the RT95 with your cable, the digirig and the USB AtoC cable with the ferrites you also sell. I’ve got Winlink + a registered copy of Vara FM. Vara hears the sound and keys up the radio but sometimes it stays keyed up and I have to remove all the cables & power cycle the radio to get another try. What am I experiencing?

The other day I was an an EMCOM practice event and successfully sent a Winklink using my Baofeng with your cables and it worked. Everything else was the same other then the Winlink gateway. What is it about the RT95?

Thanks,
Pete

Pete,
you are experiencing RFI when your HT uses Digirig’s cabling as part of the antenna system.
See “sticky PTT” section of the troubleshooting guide for diagnosing methods and solutions.

@K0TX Dennis,

Three ferrite beads on the LMR400 took care of the RFI issues! I had to adjust the laptop’s outgoing volume and also the microphone but after some fiddling, it works!

Thanks again and 73

I’m glad to hear you got it working. I pay attention when people using LMR400 get RFI!

What antenna are you using? Does the radio float or is it grounded? If grounded, to what?
