I have NEVER been able to connect my Yaesu FT-2000d to my computer.
Running Windows11, using RTsystems USB-63 Cable. Drivers all work correctly, i can view, change, save, settings in device manager, (Comport 1, Baud 38400, Data Bits 2, Parity None, Stop bits 2, flow control None).
Radio is matched to communicate, Menu #28 CAT BPS 38400, #29 CAT TOT: 10, #30 CAT RTS: Off, #31 CAT IND: On.
Still will not communicate, ANY Thoughts?
First order of business is to confirm that you use Digirig 1.6 or later with serial port configured for RS-232.
I have the latest Digirig, and it works fine with my FT-991, I can’t get any software to communicate, FLDigi, FLRig, PCC-2000, WSJTX, FT-2000 CAT/Remote Control. just wasn’t sure if i have other issues here with this Rig
Do you have serial CAT control of your FT-991 via the Digirig?
That would suggest correct port configuration (RS-232) as well as confirmed working interface hardware.
One another possibility is that FT-2000’s COM port has reversed data lines and you may need an adapter:
