Digirig and FT-891 with VaraHF

Here’s a way to use PTT by GPIO3 of Digirig DR-891 or Digirig Lite:

1. in Vara Setup enable RA-Board PTT:

2. In Sound Card setup select Digirig’s sound devices and board 1:

3. Here’s what I had in Winlink’s radio setup (COM4 is Enhanced)

The PTT Port setting in last screen may be switching PTT method to PTT by CAT. Setting it to “External”, which I think falls back to RA-Board PTT, also works. I’m not personally experienced with Winlink so maybe somebody who uses it regularly can chime in on this.
