I have an FT5DR with the DigiRig I can get it working with WinLink Open Session (Packet WinLink) How ever I can not get it to work with anything else.
Any help would be great

Hey, I am having the same exact issue as you.
The TX just flickers the bottom screen. It isnt sending out the full packet. It DOES flicker the PTT very briefly though.
RX works fine.
I cant DM you here. System wont let me.

Any yes, shorting the top two pins does hold down PTT on the radio.

This is my exact issue, PTT is flickering
I figured it out! It was pretty simple after all.
Shorting the pins made the PTT work.
So then I then tested the PTT serial function with WSJT-X and it worked fine.
So i knew it was software relatedā¦
The Digirig outbound sound was simply too high.
If the FT5D is fed too loud of an input sound, it freaks out and flickers the transmit.
Dropped the outbound audio to 20% and everything started working fine.
