Getting Started with Yaesu FT-1000mp

I have the DigiRig with the FT-1000mp cables, which include the DIN connector and DB-9. I’m assuming that I plug the DIN into the “packet” socket on the back of the mp, and the DB9 goes into the only dsub on the back of the rig. Downloaded WJST-X.

I have no idea what I should be doing next to get this online. Thanks

OK I appear to be receiving on WSJT-X. I see activity popping up on the monitor and the waterfall is live. I get an error code from WSJT-x, saying “rig control error”. Does anyone have the CAT settings that will work with an FT-1000mp?

Thanks…not sure how old that post is but there are now pre-made cables available for the 1000. Apparently my issue is getting the software/digi to talk to the xcvr via CAT port.
