The ptt is not working with my icom706mk2g.
I h aven done the test described in this video IC-706 unable to TX with JS8Call
And I can put the transceiver in TX.
I have followed this thread No TX on IC706MK2 and followed these setting but stil the TX is not working.
I’m stuck on what i can do now.
Edit:
I was also able to record via ham radio delux so it seems the soundcard is working fine.
I do no measure anything on the TX pin on the connector.

Arvid, you were able to PTT by RTS as shown in the video. Correct? That uses WSJT-X or JS8Call.
Is the issue with your HRD setup?
No only succeeded in shorting the jack on the outer 2 connections to PTT the tranceiver.

If the audio was configured and working correctly before the TX attempt but throwing the error shortly after then it’s an RFI issue. See “sticky PTT” section in the troubleshooting guide for diagnosing and solutions.

I have never been able to PTT at all.
I have tried on 2 computers and hrd and WSJT-X
I kow the cable works i tested that as described.
The CAT works fine and the sound works fine to.
I can make a video thus weekend showing all my steps.
Maybe that can help.

Thank you for the info. By shorting the pins on the connector we’ve ruled out radio and cable. Now we have Digirig and software left.
WSJT-X in your screenshot has these hamlib selections which is not something you see in the regular version. Are you able to test with the current stable release version on a PC?
I tried on 2 different computers
The one i reinstalled wsjt-x te get the stable hamlib version.
And another.
Im new to wsjt-x so if the hamlib version is still not correct let me know.

Hi Denis,
I was on holiday and wanted to do a last test by reinstalling my computer to be sure that it was not a conflict on that side.
So, it took some time before I could test this.
Unfortunately, I still have the TX issue after the fresh installation with only WSJT-X installed.
Since I’m unable to use the Digirig for what I bought it I think the only option is to send it back for a diagnostic.
Could you provide me with the details to do this please.
