Tutorial: Digirig setup with FLDIGI on Raspberry Pi

I made a video on setting up the Digirig with FLDIGI using Hardware Push To Talk on the Raspberry Pi.

In this video:

  • Physical connection of the Digirig to a simple radio without CAT control
  • Basic universal radio settings
  • Selecting the Digirig within FLDIGI
  • Setting up hardware PTT (that is, simply transmitting without using VOX or CAT)
  • Adjusting the incoming audio to prevent overdriving the Digirig
  • And basic setup for FLDIGI and FSQ

Before setting up FLDIGI, the audio settings for the Digirig will need to be adjusted within Alsamixer on the Raspberry Pi. Info here:
