Yaesu 450D - what cables do i need

Hi, I’ve just purchased a new digirig mini to connect my 450D to my MacBook. After reading the post Yaesu FT-450D setup issues. I’m a bit confused about cables and where to get them from. Initially i made my own mini 6 pin to two 3.5 jack plugs. This seems to receive ok but TX is very hit and miss with almost nothing on FT8.

Roger, here is the info on cables and settings:

Cables for Yaesu FT-450

This model uses same MiniDin6 data cable as many Yaesu transceivers. For CAT control it uses a classic RS-232 DB9 connector and requires RS-232 levels Digirig configuration. The matching cables are listed under FT-480 kit: [image] Manual can be found here.
